Crazy Quilts
Dorothy will be bringing many of her quilts and articles to share with
us, as well as share information with us about herself and these
beautiful quilts!
Bring a 4-6" square of fabric basted to a piece of muslin. The fabric
can be special (tafetta, silk, etc.---nothing too heavy). Also bring
embroidery thread, a needle with a large eye for this type of thread
and scissors. Dorothy will be giving a hands-on demonstration of
various embroidery and embellishment stitches.

The 2008 raffle
quilt
The 2008 raffle quilt is being exhibited at various places and ticket selling is
good.
The Spring Arts & Crafts Fair will be April 11-12. The sign-up sheet was
passed
around again. Thanks to all who volunteered to work and sell tickets.
The
2009 raffle
quilt
The next raffle quilt
project will be using the Mystery Quilt guidelines.
Thanks to all who have made units from the kits handed out at
the meetings. This project is now being sewn together.
Mystery
Quilts -- 2007-2008 Block of the Month
Our BOM project this
year will be a mystery. Steps have been handed out each moth
and the finished quilt tops unveiled at the May luncheon. At the February
meeting,
Instructions were handed out for February, March and April. If you want to
follow
along in the monthly manner, don't peek! The April instructions contain a photo
of
the finished project.
Bring the completed tops/quilts to the May luncheon. We can't wait to see them!
Nominating
Committee
The Nominating Committee
is working and will present their report at the April meeting.
Please be willing to sign up for an office or a committee!
Community Quilts
Work continues on these
projects.
UFO Quilts

Sign a contract to finish "X" number of projects.
It's fun----and you finish up some of those "old" quilts!
Projects include those started prior to Jan 1, 2007 and
completed (with label!) by April 2008.
