GROUP ACTIVITIES AND SHOW AND TELL
Encouraging each other
is an important and effective way to share and gain knowledge as well
as increase confidence in ourselves as well as others.
Bringing our projects for Show and Tell is a wonderful way to accomplish this.
Photos of members'
projects shown at recent meetings are in this gallery.
Apologies to any person whose project was not photographed---
please contact Donna Slusser to make arrangements to try again
or bring to the next meeting!

PROGRAM
Earlinia Scott from
Lewiston, Idaho, was our featured guest. She is known for
her beautiful hand applique and teaches the technique as well as her tips and
tricks for Becky's Fabrics & Bernina in Lewiston as well as Moscow, ID. She
has been an assistant in Elly Siencawitch's Applique Acadamie for several
years and shared some of her fun times there with us. We enjoyed hearing about
what technique she uses, her use of Hannah bias silk hand-dyed ribbons for
stems, her use of other fabrics for leaves (such as ultrasuede, etc.) and many
other interesting tidbits. The quilts she brought for show and tell were
beautiful and each one had an equally wonderful label on the back.
Thanks, Earlinia for sharing yourself and your quilts with us.
