GROUP ACTIVITIES AND SHOW AND TELL
Encouraging each other
is an important and effective way to share and gain knowledge as well
as increase confidence in ourselves as well as others.
Bringing our projects for Show and Tell is a wonderful way to accomplish this.
Photos of members'
projects shown at recent meetings are in this gallery.
Apologies to any person whose project was not photographed---
please contact Donna Slusser to make arrangements to try again
or bring to the next meeting!

PROGRAM
The quilt shop, Stitches & Petals, did not send a representative
because of a family emergency. Sara Jane Perino was to introduce them.
She did a fantastic job of improvising and asked the group how many
people owned Featherweights? Then it became a "game" to see who
owned the most! This led to a discussion of What is a Featherweight and
why are they important? Then other spontaneous topics were discussed
by the group. Thanks to all who helped be the program for this afternoon!

MYSTERY QUILT
PROJECT
We are doing a
year-long Mystery Quilt project. The unveiling of the
quilt tops will be
at the
May luncheon! The last of the instructions
were given out at the February Meeting---for Feb., March and April.
Mary Jo Rawlins was the first to bring her completed quilt top to
a meeting. (see above)

RAFFLE QUILT 2008
A big thanks to
Chris Pollastro and Georgia Williams for sewing the quilt top together. And to
Chris for doing the beautiful machine quilting! Sandy McCurdy is scheduling
the places where
the quilt will be exhibited in local businesses.

RAFFLE QUILT
2009
We work on the next
raffle quilt during the year. This year we will be using the
Mystery Quilt guidelines. Kits were handed out and have been turned back
in.
Thanks to all who sewed and helped. The quilt top will hopefully be finished
by the May meeting.
