DRAWING BLOCKS

At various times throughout the years, we have had the "drawing block" activity.
Members make a block, or as many blocks as they wish, according to pattern
and fabric/color guidelines. For each block made, the person's name is put
into a "hat."  Names are drawn out of the hat to receive some or all of the
blocks, depending upon the number of participants.

Pictured below are some of the blocks and quilts made from these drawings.

(This page is a work "in progress" and is often updated as members
remember and find projects!)

2006
December Holiday Luncheon
Instructions were given out for how to make flying geese blocks using an easy
method that yields 4 "geese."  To these were added the stems for trees!
